Project Artist Clothing
Artist Clothing was a five year investigation of fashion’s communicative and visual characteristics. 12 artists were asked by Ulrika Gunnarsdotter if they wanted to create each their own clothing collection. Artist Clothing was also a venue for meetings between different disciplines. The project was initiated in 2003 by Ulrika Gunnarsdotter as an activity platform upon which new avenues and forms of communication in art are explored. The basic concept is to have artists produce their own clothing line based on each person’s artistic practice. >Artist Clothing
